Background
Pulling from a large number of various artifacts, I designed the layouts of exhibit display cases with historical relevance, scientific accuracy, and story-telling in mind. I also researched and organised 300+ artifact reproductions in Google Sheets, maintaining and updating lists for each exhibit as the design evolved.
Design and Development
Working closely with the designers and producers at Imagine, I created layout and visitor journey concepts, maintained a catalogue of artifacts, and researched and sorted artifacts into appropriate display cases to support the story being told.
I then modeled display cases and representations of artifacts, so I could set them digitally, both in CAD and photoshop, and play with placement before arriving on site.
On Site Installation
When I arrived in Las Vegas I got to work organising and preparing artifacts for transport to the site, taking care to note any repairs or touch ups to be done prior to install.
I set and re-set each display case to finalise the design, and created mock ups and schematics for the installation team.
