The AriensCo. Museum
A Journey Through The American Landscape:
From 2017 through 2022 I served as the Principal Exhibit Designer for the AriensCo. Museum, responsible for designing and directing the aesthetic and overall experience of the space.
Housed in the company’s original manufacturing plant, the AriensCo Museum features 14,000 sq ft of interactive exhibits. The experience tells the story of the company’s history against the backdrop of America’s rapidly evolving way of life, and relationship to the outdoors.
Today the AriensCo. Museum has become a thriving regional institution, serving hundreds of STEM learning students each season.
A Department of one:
Because I was the only in-house creative on the project, I got into a groove of being a well-rounded, generalist designer. I did creative direction, architectural design, graphic design for wayfinding and exhibit signage, visual merchandising for the museum gift shop, and many other odds and ends. I also regularly presented and pitched to AriensCo.’s CEO, Dan Ariens, and other executive stakeholders.
